W. Cleon Skousen was a lawyer, author, university professor, lecturer, and FBI agent who was gravely concerned about communist infiltration and subversion of US government and society. The Naked Communist is his most famous work. Excerpts from this book were made part of the official Congressional Record on Capitol Hill in 1963.

Much like his later contemporary Yuri Bezmenov, Skousen recognized the danger posed by subversive Marxist ideology both here in the US and abroad; and, also like Bezmenov, his warnings were to go unheeded, thereby cursing us to this societal downward spiral in which individual liberties are cast aside on an almost daily basis in favor of the “progressive” Marxist collective.
