Called by the Guinness Book of World Records the “Most Successful Literary Hoax” of all-time, this publication by an unknown author has been a staple of the conspiracy genre ever since its release in 1967.
The book describes how a secret 15 member government panel made up of America’s best and brightest gathered in an underground bunker to discuss the ramifications of peace in a modern society.
This panel concludes that perpetual war is both good for the economy and for the ruling class – since it channels the aggression of the populace outward towards an external enemy, rather than at the government itself.
The book also describes political enslavement through the use of technology and manipulation of the masses via environmental hysteria.
Doesn’t sound like a hoax to me. Sounds like reality.
